Natural World Photos

Our beautiful planet has a bounty to offer us, we just need to accept it and say thanks.

We can say thanks in so many ways…

We can decrease our use of plastics in as many forms that we can think of.
We can support our local natural plant nurseries.
We can plant host plants for butterflies like Monarchs, Zebras, Swallowtails.

We can view the world as a place of wonderment.

I have planted over 5,000 pollinator and host plants for various butterfly species. I think of them as elegant air swimmers.

I cultivate unique varieties of banana plants. Bananas are not trees or shrubs, they are in the grass family. Did you know that the male flower of the banana plant is a superb provider of nectar for native bees and wasps? Most banana plants do not need to be pollinated. How interesting that the flower provides a lovely feeding station for the buzzy air swimmers!

My most intriguing, inspiring, creative moments manifest when I am in the harmonic vibe of all the lifeforms that live on my property.

The photos you view here are all from the land I shepherd.

Nobody really owns land, we borrow it for our brief lifespan, the best way to let the natural world know you care is to?

Be a grateful shepherd to all that live where you live.

Practice ahimsa to all that lives, all that exists, all that you come into contact with.
